Service Description

Reiki is an energy healing art of Japanese origin. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force. A Reiki session can help dissolve tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. A reiki session is uplifting, relaxing, supportive and powerful all at once. You can expect the session to be both nurturing and illuminating. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy” It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance. Reiki helps remove blocks and move idle energy in your body. It assists to cleanse & recharge your energy centers. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religious practice or belief system. It is universal and available to all as an assistant for healing and well being. Reiki is the universal life energy that flows through all living things. Carrie is a Certified Usui Reiki Master. This is a light touch, or no touch healing modality done with the client lying down in a peaceful relaxing environment. Reiki is a wonderful tool to help restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit.
